Core Values

The Scandinavian Children’s Mission is a Christian organization that carries out humanitarian efforts directed towards children, youths and families. Help is provided without any consideration to gender, ethnical, religious or political belongings or preferences.

Our mission originates in the Bible, where we are challenged to help the ones who need it most. We therefore want to offer help for the whole person, spirit, soul and body.

Openness

The Scandinavian Children’s Mission wants all concerned to feel safe through a good trusteeship, nationally and internationally.

Participation

The Scandinavian Children’s Mission wants both donors and recipients to feel as if they are a part of the operations. The Scandinavian Children’s Mission wants to develop people’s ability to change their own situation and that of others.

Dignity

The work of the Scandinavian Children’s Mission should be permeated with respect for the people concerned, both donors and recipients.
