That is a question that are posed to us often and we can joyously answer:”Yes, the help really get there!” We have an efficient administration in Sweden with less than 15% in administrative costs.

In Sweden we are four employees who work fulltime and one who work part time, but we also have many volunteers.

The Scandinavian Children’s Mission has a 90-account with the PlusGiro which means that we are under the supervision of SFI, (The Swedish Foundation for Fundraising Control) and you can be sure that the donations you make will go to the intended place.

We have pledged to follow the directions of SFI and to continuously undergo auditing of among other things our accounting papers by SFI and by auditors appointed by SFI.

This provides you with the warranty that the Scandinavian Children’s Mission administer the donation from you in such a way that it really will come to use in the way that is best for the distressed children. We have among other things high standards as for how much the administration can cost and we have a great margin to the limit. We want to help as many children as we can for the funds that we raise.

We are also a member of The Swedish Fundraising Council (FRII) which is the voluntary organizations council of fundraising that works with ethical fundraising where the key words are respect, openness, credibility and quality.

All the humanitarian help that we distribute in Ukraine is closely registered by our staff there. This brings about an extensive administrative work load but we can not spare it. We want to know that our help get there and that it reaches the right people. We at the Scandinavian Children’s Mission and all of You who support our work want to know that all that we invest of time, money and love for the distressed children really reaches them.
