ÖPPNA HJÄRTAT (the open heart)

The purpose of the store "Öppna Hjärtat Secondhand" is to support the humanitarian work of the Scandinavian Children’s Mission.

The things that are not sold in the store is donated to poor people in Ukraine and all profits go to the relief work of the Scandinavian Children's Mission.

Clothes

Exclusive clothes do not have to be expensive. At our store you can find clothes for every occasion, both everyday- and party clothes. Here you will find the clothes you will not find anywhere else, each garment feels unique. Everything is intact, clean and at a good price. You can find jeans and leather jackets, jumpers and shirts, trousers, suits and dresses, boots and shoes, sportswear and leisurewear, rainwear and swimsuits. Everything you can imagine.

furniture

Decorate your home in a personal style with second hand furniture. There is a charm to it and they have a lovely patina from the start. We carry everything, from almost new to really old things. Modern and antiques get on well together in our furniture department. You can find classy furniture, functional and loud 70’s things. Plastic, glass and chromium amongst rustic oak, hardwood and some real classics. You can find couches, chairs and tables, beds, work-chairs and desks, chest drawers and lamps. The best thing is that the range of products changes from day to day. We get new things all the time.

Glass and porcelain

We get a lot of porcelain to the store, both old and new. Sometimes we get a complete set and sometimes just odd parts. You can find both everyday glasses and nice crystal glasses in our store.

Leave your donations to us

It is impossible to mention everything that can be bought at our store. Every day we get new things – books, household effects, bric-a-bracs, toys and a lot of fun things. Each time you visit us there will be something new. Perhaps we will have the part that has been missing in your china set or an interesting book that you have been looking for. Or maybe that record that is missing in your collection. We are thankful for donations to the store. If you have things or clothes that you do not need it will be of use for us. Welcome to the store at Friisgatan 22 in Malmö.

we can pick up

If you have large furniture that you want to get rid off, we can come and get it at your place. Our truck can pick up in the Malmö area. Please call us for an appointment.
To shop at Öppna Hjärtat is both exciting and fun in addition to the fact that you do a good deed since the surplus goes the Scandinavian Children’s Mission’s aid work. It is among other things about helping street children at the Philippines and to help children from Ukraine who are afflicted by the Chernobyl disaster. Do you want to help?

We need your help at the store. All of us who work here are volunteers and we do this voluntarily because it is fun and meaningful. Goods need to be unpacked and price marked in order to be put out in the store. We also need help picking up goods. A lot of people and want us to pick up furniture and other things. Are you interested in being a part of a great team who works to help others? It can be about helping out one or half a day per week. A fun and meaningful job! You get to meet a lot of people, both customers and the staff contributes to our great community. Get in touch with us if you are interested.
