The Scandinavian Children’s Mission is a Christian aid- and lifesaver organization that is represented in the Nordic region. Our work is pursued essentially by fund-raised private means. We also receive help from the different Nordic countries relief agencies like SIDA, DANIDA, NORAD och FINIDA. 

90% of all the means we raise comes from our donors. The Scandinavian Children’s Mission has qualified itself as a relief organization where the raised means have proven to go their right purpose. This without high administrative costs. We belong to the group of relief organizations in the Nordic countries with the lowest administrative costs.

The Scandinavian Children’s Mission’s by-laws have decided to work under double-acting security when it comes to financial administration of the donors’ means.
No employee or person otherwise connected to the Mission’s operation has the right to accept donations in cash. All donations should be deposited into the foundations accounts by the donor himself/herself.

Only two of the board members, specially chosen, have the right to in union sign for the Fundation in economical issues. The board has been given a 90-account by the PlusGiro. The foundation is thereby under the supervision of SFI, The Swedish Foundation for Fundraising Control. All donors own the right to read the annual report.
