A last will is one of finest things there is. By writing a last will it will be you and no one else who decides what will happen with your property. If you choose to bequeath to the Scandinavian Children’s Mission we promise to administrate your donation so that you, we and God can feel proud.
To whom can I bequeath?
You can bequeath to whomever or whatever cause you want to. But you have to take in to consideration the lot of your spouse and/or children. If you have a family it will of course come first, but you can broaden the sphere of receivers by including a donation to a non-profit cause that is close to your heart.
What can I bequeath?
You can bequeath money, objects, property and bank-paper. One way to support the Scandinavian Children's Mission is to give a share or to give what is left when the family and other beneficiaries have received their share. If you choose to bequeath to the Scandinavian Children's Mission the donation will be exempted from capital profit levy after receipt.

- The witnesses can not be relatives or devisees, but they have to know you well enough to guarantee that you are ”of sound mind” and therefore know what you are doing.
- The certification should be phrased in a way that clearly states that the witnesses are aware that they are attesting a last will.
- They do not have to know the contents of the last will.
- Keep in mind to write clearly so that the surviving relatives understand your intent.
- A last will can be written manually, on a typewriter or on a computer.
